1. Choose your distractions. In the app, you create a mode (Work, Study, Sleep, Family, or any other you like) and select which apps to block.

2. Tap your Monk. Bring your phone close to the device, and those apps are blocked instantly.

3. Come back whenever you want. To unlock, bring your phone close again. You're in control.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Block Mode: Choose which apps to block, and the rest remain available.
Allow Mode: Choose which apps you can use, and everything else is blocked. Ideal for deep work or studying.

Schedule Sessions: Set up modes that activate automatically at the times you want. For example, Sleep mode every night or Work mode from Monday to Friday.

Strict Mode: For those times when you know you might give in. It truly blocks apps, with no easy escape.

Stay Connected: Calls and messages are never blocked. Monk only blocks the apps you choose. You remain reachable, without the noise. Family Control: You can remotely log into your child's phone. Unlocking always requires

PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY (ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE)

To block apps and websites, Monk uses the Android Accessibility Service. This is the app's core function and cannot work without it: the Accessibility Service allows Monk to detect which app or website you open and instantly block those you've chosen as distractions, displaying a lock screen instead.

Monk does NOT collect, store, or share your screen content or personal data. Information is processed only on your device and solely for the purpose of applying the blocks you configure. You can disable the Accessibility Service at any time from your Android Settings, and in that case, Monk will stop blocking apps and websites.
