3 of the 5 bulbs I purchased won't connect with the app. They offer several ways of connecting, each with its own bugs and incoherent wording. The diagrams in the app don't make any sense, for example telling you to press buttons that don't exist. I am beyond frustrated with these things and have wasted too much time trying to get them to work.

Should have known better than to try these bulbs out, even on sale. The app is the worst I've ever seen, and I've been trying to do home automation on the cheap for years so I've seen some bad ones. When you try to pair bulbs by pressing the bulb icon in the selection of devices, it takes you to a 'how to pair' set of instructions for a totally different device. The bulbs don't have reset buttons or indicator lights. What the hell?

Worked fine until I had to install the app on my S24 Ultra. It installs but errors out and crashes. I have 5 switches with 2 plugs on each, and use 3 of them year round. Now I'm dead in the water with the app. I can turn them on and off manually but can only reach 1, conveniently, thus a major reason I bought them in the first place. In fact, I bought 2 a few years ago, another 1 a couple years ago and 2 more (the new version) last year. Confidence diminished and very disappointed! 😞
