Public is anonymous You can, and probably should, choose a user name that maintains anonymity. I like that the app generates some for you. The word cloud is very nice to keep track of specific emotions and the ratings to give a more aggregate picture of negative and positive feelings. Strangers comment on my posts, but I don't have to respond. It's a community that's there if you like, but ignorable.
Public diary is terrifying I paid the dollar for a private diary on day 1. The public diary is a mix of emo kids talking about suicide and cutting, with the occasional "my husband won't touch me and I wish someone would". It's like text-based Jerry Springer. However, I am pleased with the private diary. I like being able to rate the mood manually, and there's a good size space to describe why I'm feeling that way.
Surprisingly... I do enjoy visiting this app daily. Being able to share what you're feeling and going through without giving too much personal info is nice and it feels like you're finally getting something off your chest when someone responds and relates to you.
Great app! Very useful. One question: without the private setting is there a way you can see if others want to be contacted or if others do not want to be contacted? Just curious. For downloaders, i recommend this app!
The best. I have a mental illness and this really helps get my mood in order. I love the support from others. It's a great structure. My favorite app.
Perfect I have bi polar disorder and the meds I take make me forget a lot and this allows me too keep track of my moods and make little entries. The people are all so sweet, helpful and kind. I have yet to meet anyone who was disrespectful. If you're thinking of getting this app please do.
