Friendship bracelet patterns start with an idea for colors and a plan for the knots. Friendship Bracelet Maker brings a pattern editor, row-by-row knot guide and thread-length estimate together so you can prepare a bracelet before cutting your floss.

PATTERNS AND COLOR PLANNING
Choose a generated stripe, chevron, diamond, candy or arrow template as a starting point. Paint knot cells, assign colors to individual strands and inspect the knot grid as you change the design. Adjust the layout from 2 to 40 strands and from 1 to 200 rows. Undo an edit when you want to return to the previous version.

FOLLOW THE KNOTS
Read the compiled instructions one row at a time and move the current-row marker as you work. The app stores the current row for the matching design, helping you return to your place. The interactive knot trainer lets you cycle through forward, backward, forward-backward and backward-forward knots to see how strand positions and colors change.

ESTIMATE FLOSS BEFORE YOU CUT
Check estimated thread use by color and the combined total, displayed in centimeters or meters. The calculation uses knot counts, working slack for each strand and a safety margin. These are approximate planning amounts: thread thickness, knot tension and finishing choices can change how much floss you actually need. They do not measure your wrist or guarantee a finished bracelet length.

MAKE A LATIN LETTER PATTERN
Turn a short name, initials or a word into a stacked letter pattern. Choose the letter and background colors, then bring the generated grid into the editor. The generator uses 12 strands and accepts up to 25 characters: Latin A-Z, digits 0-9 and spaces. Letters become uppercase; other characters are discarded. It does not generate text in every writing system.

KEEP DESIGNS FOR LATER
The working design is saved and restored locally. Save up to 30 named designs, load a saved pattern to work on it again, or delete one you no longer need. Try a color combination for a handmade gift, prepare a small practice pattern, or return to a familiar template with different strand colors.

QUESTIONS WHILE DESIGNING
Why does a custom pattern show a warning? A knot can only show a color available from its strands. Some painted cells cannot be reached with the current arrangement; the app flags these cases. Revisit the colors or strand layout rather than assuming every drawing can be tied exactly as shown.

Is the thread estimate an exact cut list? No. Use it as a starting point and allow for your materials, tension and finishing method. Does the text tool support any name? Only names that can be represented with the supported Latin letters, numbers and spaces.

The app includes ads, uses Firebase Analytics and makes network requests for advertising and the related-app catalogue. Local design storage does not mean all app activity stays on your device.

What’s new

“Save” now sits right under the bracelet board, next to “Undo”. One tap keeps the design and the button turns into “Saved to My Designs ✓”; it switches back as soon as you change the design, so you can see at a glance whether this version is kept. “Generate pattern” now takes your text bracelet straight to the Design board.
