GO HOME – Your Hospital Recovery Companion

Recovering in the hospital can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. GO HOME is a personalized wellness app designed to help older adults stay active, oriented, and engaged during their hospital stay, so they can get home faster and stronger.

Developed by the University of Pittsburgh's MoSHI and funded by the Beckwith Institute, GO HOME is built on proven research to prevent two of the most common complications of hospitalization: delirium and deconditioning.

What GO HOME offers:

Daily reminders to keep you oriented with the date, time, and location, and to stay active, entertained, and rested. Guided exercise videos personalized to your mobility level, from bed exercises to walking tips. Entertainment resources including music, books, and games to keep your mind engaged. Sleep support with tips and soothing noise to help you rest and heal. A hospital glossary with plain-language explanations of the medical terms and people you'll encounter during your stay.
