About this app

Rav-Kav is a smart card used for payments in Israeli public transportation system.
As of Feb 2020 you can no longer pay cash on board for your bus rides, but don't worry, using this app you can top-up your card from any mobile phone with NFC support.

You can choose to top-up card with credit value, daily pass, weekly pass, 30 days pass or monthly pass. You can pay with any major credit and debit cards.

Contracts sold on this app are valid for your rides on Trains in Israel and in the following bus service operators: Dan, Egged, Metropoline, Kavim, Superbus, Afikim and more

• האפליקציה דורשת תמיכה ב-NFC. מכשירים ללא NFC יכולים לבצע הזמנת חוזי נסיעה באתר www.hopon.co.il

I tried to top up my card several times and got an error. My card value remained the same, but I still got charged from my bank account. I have received my refund, but that doesnt change the fact that the product has bug and the company should disable the service for a while to fix it. You should send receipts to people's email as well, like other apps do. Overall the app is okay, but can't rate it higher because of this bug that got my nerves playing.

What’s new

You can now purchase student transit pass for the 2025-2026 academic year. Buying yearly or semester pass gives you an additional 50% discount when topping up credits for trips outside the pass range/means of transportation.
