Use + to represent blank letters, enter scrabb++ to find crabbers and scrabbly.

DEFINITIONS
Press the search icon next to a word to view it's definition, example usages and synonyms. You can click on the synonyms for further info and hear the word by pressing the speak button.
Note, if no definition is found the app will search the web for a definition.

Ratings and reviews

I love this app for helping me with my cryptogram puzzles since I just use "?" for any unknown letters & then type in the known letters--it's a great app for that feature, however, when I try to use it to help me with a crossword puzzle, I cannot find any way of putting in a clue (in addition to putting in the known and unknown letters). I did pull up the settings, but there was nothing helpful. The HELP section said to use the magnifying glass icon, but not showing anywhere. So, it's useless!

Perfect easy, help solve and you learn, meanings can be looked up from app. One improvement would be to move the pink circle filter button towards the left. When there is a long list of words the pink circle sits on the magnifying glass symbols, so it is hard to hit the look up definition for words at the bottom of a list, as you cannot scroll the page any more.

This is my go-to app whenever I need help with words. It's more than a crossword solver, it can help with codewords (my favourite puzzle), anagrams, and now I have been told by the developer that it can suggest rhyming words. This has now just made it indispensable, to the extent that I'm going to pay for the pro version. Hopefully the kids will understand where and why their inheritance is going.
