ANAGRAMS
Try moonstarer to find astronomer, also finds smaller words such as resonator and tearooms.

BLANK LETTERS
Use + to represent blank letters, enter scrabb++ to find crabbers and scrabble.

DEFINITIONS
Press the search icon next to a word to view it's definition, example usages and synonyms. You can click on the synonyms for further info and hear the word by pressing the speak button.
Note, if no definition is found the app will search the web for a definition.

FILTERS
Narrow down your results using filters, you can allow words that start with, end with, contain or exclude certain letters. A powerful feature when you need to find words that fit with other tiles on the game board.

CROSSWORDS
Use . to represent a missing letter, try c....w... to find clockwork and crossword

CROSSWORD PHRASES
Search over 100K built-in phrases, try m.... ... ...... to find motte and bailey, miles per gallon and milky way galaxy

WORDLE
Green letters use the crossword search, eg ..e.t
Grey letters, add them to the Excludes Letters filter
Yellow letters, add them to the Contains Letters filter

SPELLING BEE
Spelling Bee puzzles are where you only use the letters provided but as many times as you like. Try $qntuaei to find: quinquina, aquanaut and queenie

Scroll through the tips for quick reminders of all the features. There is also an online user guide showing you how to use the app to help you with your favourite games.

WORD LISTS
German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese word lists are available. The app also has two purpose built word lists for US and World Scrabble®. You can change the word list in the settings menu.

Anagram Solver is not affiliated with any apps or games mentioned here and is solely a utility for helping you find words and definitions.

Ratings and reviews

I am having difficulties using your program. Practically everytime I put jumbled letters in the area provided it comes back as no results found. I know for certain there are words in the letters I've provided but it usually comes back as no words found. What am I doing wrong? I've followed your directions but get the same results. Do I always have to use the filters to get results because I get confused on applying those too because when I do, the response is no results found. Please help!

Update. Thank you to the program developer's comment regarding my mistake with the platform. Reassigning 5-stars as I was using an unrecognized place holder for blank tiles. The ? (blank tile) place holder has a glitch causing 'Matches 0' as a result. Example: BRENTG?? is leading to 'Matches 0' result. Been using the app for years- this glitch started this week. Current devices: Samsung S21 and Pixel 10. Perhaps an issue with the Android platform.

This is the easiest, quickest, most convenient anagram solver ever. I downloaded several and weeded through them, and this is my clear winner. When I get stuck in Scrabble or whatever word game, I open this and enter the letters and immediately I get a comprehensive list from most letters to least. It's perfect. 2/01/19 Update, months later, still using it almost daily with ZERO complaints or problems. Five Stars still and again. *Addition 6/02/2022* I'm still using this app almost daily-puzzles
