Visiting a FlexIt gym is seamless, flexible, and paper-free with no additional waiver or FlexIt membership required. Here’s how it works:
- Search for fitness locations on the FlexIt app and find a location you’d like to visit.
- Once you arrive at a gym, open the app and check-in to the gym: no waiver required.
- When you are ready to leave, simply check out and pay only for the time you were at the gym.

Ratings and reviews

Reviewing the app not the service because I haven't started yet: I couldn't edit a message I was writing because I couldn't scroll to the bottom to put my cursor there, it was covered by the keyboard. I had to send a half-complete message with typos and just continue from there. There is also a default message from the company that I can't click into or dismiss the notification badge for, which is mildly infuriating.

Coach and interaction is great. The app is a big fail, and really gets in the way of the workout. Wish they would try to be less fancy (I don't need to press and hold to complete a set) and just get the basics right - like being able to hit send when trying to message my coach.

The concept seems appealing but I'd have to agree with all of the other reviews so far that it doesn't make sense to pay per minute when you can easily get a day pass for a few dollars or a trial membership for a nominal fee. I also don't like that they ask for an emergency contact because it's invasive. Although this has been out for a few years, I hope they increase their database of quality fitness centers and in more areas. I"ll keep checking back.
