SayMate is a simple AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) flashcard app designed to help users communicate using images, text, and voice.
It is built for non-verbal individuals, children, and people with speech or language difficulties. It also supports learning, vocabulary development, and communication therapy.
Users can:
- Upload or capture images
- Add text labels to each flashcard
- Record their own voice or use text-to-speech (TTS)
- Create personalized communication cards
- Guess the Image mini-game for reinforced learning
Each flashcard becomes a voice-enabled communication tool. When tapped, it instantly speaks using either recorded audio or text-to-speech, making communication fast, visual, and intuitive.
All flashcards are displayed in a clean grid layout for easy access and quick interaction.
SayMate also includes a built-in “Guess the Image” mini-game, designed to reinforce learning. Users guess their saved cards through scrambled letters, supported by visual feedback, sound effects, and celebration animations.
