Been using this app for years mainly as a phonebook kind of thing. I could put a phone number in the app, and it would give me a business, or person name associated with the number. Recently, I can no longer use the app at all without allowing the overlay on incoming calls, which I can't stand that overlay because it blocks the contact name for a couple seconds until the app recognizes that its a contact, and not a spam call. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't pay for this app!

so why exactly does this app require so many permissions? it can read contacts even if the user didn't grant access. Now it is mandatory to set it as the default call handler with it's huge overlay like it wasn't hideous. I only pay the subscription to leave comments and read other people's reviews. With the amount of data you're harvesting from everybody, I wouldn't be surprised if they're the ones feeding the scammers with freshly stolen data every morning.

I have the annual subscription and yet at LEAST once a month I have to uninstall and reinstall because the app "forgets" and can't find my subscription to restore. Thankfully that has fixed the problem so far, but in the meantime, I have paid for premium and I have not consistently had the features. Will not be renewing after subscription is over if this continues. Wish I could get a refund!
