Nightmark is a quiet place to write down a dream before the morning takes it. Every entry keeps the real phase of the moon for the night you dreamed it, so the journal slowly becomes a calendar of your nights.
The archive is a moon calendar: each night has its small moon. Nights with a dream are bright, empty nights are dim, and lucid nights carry a thin amber ring. A year of mornings is easy to read at a glance.
Writing
Open the writing screen and the cursor is already on the page. There is no save button: every letter is stored as you type, at most half a second behind, and again when you leave the screen. The dream text is set in a serif face, with the night's moon and phase above it. The title is optional. One night can hold more than one dream.
Lucid dreaming
A Lucid switch marks the dream you were aware in, and the archive draws the ring around that night. Reality checks arrive through the day as ordinary notifications: open one and a three-step screen asks you to look at your hands, read a line twice and try to breathe through a pinched nose. Answer "I'm awake" or "Something feels off"; the count and the streak follow.
Dream signs
Tag a dream with the signs that repeated in it. Nightmark suggests signs you have used before, and the stats show the ones that come back most often.
Stats
The morning streak, the check streak, this month's lucid dreams, your frequent signs, and what you wrote on this night a month or a year ago.
Your dreams, your file
Everything stays on this phone. There is no account and no server holding your journal. One tap writes a backup into a folder you choose: a single file with the machine-readable journal and a readable text copy inside. Restoring merges it into what you already have and never deletes a newer entry.
Nightmark works offline. The network is used for ads alone, and ads never appear on the writing screen, the reality check, the intention or the backup screens.
No account. No ads while you write. Just the night and the page.
A quiet dream journal with the moon on every night and backups you own.
