The app is still painfully cumbersome... Mtr service near my place is like 1 train every 9 min. The app has grown to be a pain to access the page to see when is the next train coming. This is just a disservice. Now the app tries to be smart in guessing where I want to go... But miserably fail to do so. Every time. I need a lot of taps to get to the exact info I need. Every time it loads the map it pre select the airport! Why? Save my mobile data.. Just let me access what I need and favorite them

There's a long-standing bug where the app logs out your account after a certain amount of days. You'll be forced to re-login with your password, despite already enabling biometric login. This is immensely frustrating because the e-CitySaver ticket is bound within the app, resulting in several minutes of faffing around with re-logging in when you're stuck at the gates during rush hour.

May 2026. After latest updates, this app still close to useless. Too heavily geared to retail promotion as opposed to user/customer service. Remains 1 star because 0 improvements for the already barely functional user side. Also, next train estimates are NOT accurate. MTR should farm out app development to one of the bus companies - NW or KMB - both of whom know what these apps are supposed to facilitate. The app, or the MTR corp lies about train delay conditions too.
