This app does everything I need it to do, including very flexible settings that allow you to, for example, set several (there's no limit, as far as I can tell) sub-sessions - each one introduced by a bell - of whatever length the user needs - for example, in an hour session, you can configure it so that you can do shamatha for 20 minutes, then tonglen for 15 minutes (with a bell to notify of the new period), and finally shamatha again for the remaining 25 minutes. You can configure bell type, ring duration, number of rings, preparation time, etc. I was using another app a couple years ago that had similar capabilities, but it disappeared. This one is the only one I could find (after a lot of searching) that could replace it. The interface is a little awkward and a little hard to figure out at first, but it's workable and I much prefer a slightly clunky interface to an app that doesn't have the flexibility I need.

The BEST EVER meditation timer. The screen is calm, clean, simple. No complicated extras, adverts, or add-ons. Took time to adjust to the upgrade, but worth it. It has a choice of 3 good bell sounds. I can still set up my own customised sessions for meditation, work or exercise. I can choose preparation times and intervals exactly how I want them, and select the bell sound I like for start, interval and finish. Brilliant, highly recommended, if overlooked. Thank you! Keep up the great work!

It keeps track of your "Daily DOs" at times you select. It's that simple. The widget it has is even better. It shows your current steak, your best streak, and an indicator of whether you've done it or not. It is so handy to have the reminder. Either to know you get to do it or to bask in the knowledge of having done it for the day.
