Solvalam is a beautiful suite of four Tamil word games designed for the 80 million Tamil speakers worldwide. Whether you grew up speaking Tamil at home, learned it in school, or want to reconnect with the language, Solvalam makes playing with Tamil words a joy.

FOUR GAMES, ONE APP

• சொல்வலாம் — Word Search: Find hidden Tamil words in a grid by swiping across letters. Each puzzle draws from a curated list of over 21,000 Tamil words scored by real-world usage frequency — common everyday words first, literary and classical words as you progress. After each puzzle, explore the meaning of every word you found, powered by the 63,896-entry Madras Tamil Lexicon.

• சொல் ஆக்கம் — Jumbled Letters: Build Tamil words from a palette of consonant and vowel tiles. Combine an உயிர் (vowel) with a மெய் (consonant) to form each akshara, drop it into place, and complete the word. Any valid Tamil word is accepted, not just the target — discover words you didn't expect.

• சொல் வரிசை — Phrase Reorder: Rebuild Thirukkural couplets and classic Tamil proverbs by tapping tiles into the right order. Complete a Kural to unlock its meaning and commentary.

• தமிழி — Tamili: Learn to write ancient Tamil-Brahmi script, over 2,300 years old. Trace each letter stroke by stroke with live scoring, progress through a guided curriculum, take quizzes, and explore real historical inscriptions.
