The latest updates of the app requires the user to compulsorily create a mPesa e-wallet account before it allows any other useful functions, which I don't want. Why should you require the user to invest in/maintain one more e-wallet service just to probably get more float (cash) in the Vodafone promoted credit service? I am more than comfortable to pay for my Vodafone services by using net-banking or UPI (eg. BHIM) modes. But, now I can't even use the app to check my usage or account balance.
This app is helpful in knowing how much balance and data is available, when validities expire , what is the best recharge option . The best part is you can get all these info of all the numbers you wish to and transfer balance or do recharges for them, hassle free. Only some times it doesn't refresh and shows wrong info and takes some time to fix the problem. That's the only drawback. Hope that will be made right soon.
Uninstalling because they're forcing m-pesa on us. It was a decent app until now. But there is no way you'll get away with forcing people to sign up for m-pesa. If m-pesa is actually that good, we will sign up for it. We will decide that for ourselves, not you. (Edit: ha! They released update today and haven't addressed this issue. Changing rating to one star and uninstalling now..)
They said that by installing the app we can avail 1.7 gb of mobile data by pressing that heart spaced symbol...but when I installed and pressed that heart symbol they just given me 100mb... they thought that we all begging for data..please treat the customer as customers don't think we are begger and don't tempt us we avail u 1.7 gb data for installation and giving us 100 mb...don't cheat us after installing this terrible app...
Worst service provider. Making us chutiya by Hunt the heart offer. They give data for no use. Doesn't connect to 3G network, only 2G. You come here and I'll give you 1 GB 2G data for free. When called to c.care she said my mobile is not compatible to 3G. Pathetic company and its employees.
Wanted to keep track of my usage. Worked with it's flaws so far. Finally had to uninstall after it is forcing user to accept mpesa regiatration with all it's terms and conditions. Lodged complaint on the website customer service for all my family post paid numbers, recieved a call of helplessness, it's Vodafone India policy decision, customer care cannot do anything but record my anguish. Vodafone must be desperate, anyways Bye Bye Vodafone time to move to another service provider after a long association.
