Shameful ads now blasting out music just when I pause the podcast. So I have to fumble around trying to shut it off when I was looking for a period of quiet. I do have the latest version. I switched to my podcast app's player. While I like MX Players ability to swype to go back or forward and adjust volume. 2023. Forgot I tried this years ago and now see it's insertion of ads, at any pause, is more intrusive than any other apps I have. Very annoying.

Was able to set preferred language audio without much trouble. I wish, however, that I could find a way to set captions to automatic off or to just play for the opening and closing credits. Also, even though I set the preferred audio to English, I still got the audio of the original language at first. Is there a way to fix that? I really like this app and hope those issues can be fixed.

Love this video player, been using it since jellybean, one thing I really love is the background play. However recently it's been stopping after a few minutes of my screen being off, I tried to set it unrestricted and background data on even on data saver mode but it still stops after a few minutes. I don't know how to fix that, maybe it's a xiomi thing?
