The community is the eyes.

Argus is a neighborhood network for collective intelligence on security. An app designed for your neighbors to share what they see, access a real-time heat map, and make better decisions about their everyday safety.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Report an incident in 15 seconds. Type, location, and submission. No account required, no need to give your name.

2. View the heat map of your area. Filter it by time, period, and type of incident. The information is displayed in aggregate in zones of approximately 150 meters to protect everyone's privacy.

3. Receive push notifications when something happens nearby. Configure the radius (from 200 meters to 2 kilometers), quiet hours, and the types of incidents you want to receive notifications about.

OUR NON-NEGOTIABLE RULES

Anonymous by design. We don't ask for names, emails, or phone numbers. Reporting is completely anonymous, with no recoverable identity.

No advertising. You won't see banners, we don't track your activity to sell data, and there are no advertisers within the app.

Independent. Argus receives no funding from government agencies or political parties. The service is sustained by private corporate sponsorship under transparent and public editorial guidelines.

Free forever. There are no premium versions, no paywalls, and no paid features. Users never pay.

Hyperlocal. The information is specific to your block, not a generic city. Areas are aggregated in hexagons of approximately 150 meters, never displaying exact addresses.

PILOT IN MAR DEL PLATA

Argus is currently in pilot phase in the Bosque Peralta Ramos neighborhood of Mar del Plata, in partnership with the neighborhood association. If you live outside the pilot area, you can install the app and join the waiting list to be notified when Argus arrives in your area.

The plan: after validating the model in Bosque Peralta Ramos, expand to the rest of Mar del Plata, then to the rest of Argentina, and then to Latin America.

WHAT YOU CAN REPORT

The types of incidents included in the pilot program are: snatch-and-grab thefts, motorcycle robberies, armed robbery, home invasions, theft, and suspicious behavior.

PRIVACY

Argus does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, or photos. The application works with an anonymous identifier generated locally on your device. You can consult the complete privacy policy from the app menu or on our website.

IMPORTANT

Argus is a community-based information tool. It does not replace 911 or a formal police report. If you are in an emergency situation, call the emergency number in your jurisdiction.

The information published comes from users and its accuracy is not guaranteed. Argus applies reasonable moderation measures but cannot verify each report individually.

The app is for the exclusive use of people over 16 years of age. Age confirmation is done during onboarding.
