Review from Brett Rainey
Life Saver My blood sugar was at 589 and the doctors were suggesting that I needed to be hospitalized. The news that the doctor gave me scared me I was on the verge of having some major medical problems. I downloaded your application and started to use it religiously. This application has literally saved my life. The application is amazing. The only suggestion that I could offer to make it better would be to have a dedicated place to enter Primary Care Providers information, doctors phone numbers. Grateful for life.
I have tried several blood glucose tracking apps, and have been disappointed by all of them until now. Diabetes: M has an East to use interface and lets me track food, blood glucose, and medication all in the same log. Also the food database makes finding and entering accurate information easy. There are charts and graphs that present the data from your log in a meaningful formats so that you can better control your diabetes.
Sinc between devices in family not working properly, was ok, but after adding a new phone, all start to be separate. You can't exit your profile or can't find how to do it. All the day you have to change categories according to meal times, training, snack, etc when would be logical to put after any meal 2-2.5 hour "aftermeal" category. But it's better program then those by competitors. Would be great to have a widget insulin units/bread units
Fantastic app for the amount of functionality. Works great with my freestyle libre tied to Glimp. What's missing for me. Direct support for the Libre so I don't need a second app. Also hire a UX and UI person. When I click the calculation button. Why do I need to click it again to access the menu I need, the save icon moves between screens so it creates accidental hits. I'm a UX UI specialist and the functional aspect of this app is created, but using it is a nightmare.
I used to love this app. I bought the pro version, now when installing it on a new tablet, it won't let me update to the Pro version. It keeps asking for me to login and I never used the authors cloud, only my other paid cloud services. It won't even let me pay for it again, just to sync over two years of data onto my new tablet. I wrote the author and never got an answer. I'm really pissed! I paid for the Pro version, now I'm asked to pay again but now on a monthly basis. What a rip-off!
It is a great app provides useful data and is easy to input your information. The only thing is it's a bit pricy for the paid version and I wish the free version still let you save and look up foods like it used to.
To say this app helps me manage my diabetes is a major understatement! I'd be completely lost without it now. I started-off only using it for basic functions such as logging my blood sugar. Now I've dived deeper into what it offers i find I'm taking the guess work out of how much glucose to take to treat a hypo or how much bolus is required to bring BG levels back down to target. Seriously considering subscribing to paid version. 5 stars guys!
