Ratings and reviews

This was billed as an alternative to Skype and although it has worked okay to make International calls, once you have hung up, it is almost impossible to dial a new, different number and stop the app from redialling the previous number. If the previous number, as mine was, is to a conference line your credit gets whittled down fairly rapidly - even if you only wanted to make one call. Poor.

So far, worked exactly as described! I used it to call a company's toll-free number in USA, dialed the corresponding local number, got connected without problems. 28 minute call cost me 1€! Via my local contract this would have cost me 3€/minute! Only very small issue is that there was a 0.5 to 1 second "lag" in the conversation, but for this price, I won't complain.

Be aware if you are new to these calling apps like me. They charge you for calling a local number and if you don't have free minutes or calling you get charged big time. I topped up $10 but my call to Germany cost me an extra $10 because I didn't know about the hidden fees. I don't have free calling. The app was so easy to use I didn't read the FAQ page where it stated this. No warnings before making the call and doesn't say anywhere else this would happen. Otherwise the connection was good.
