It found my microwave and allowed me to use the remote control. Then I paired it with Alexa and worked for a few minutes. I removed it from list to troubleshoot, add it again to fix the bug with Alexa. It would not find my microwave again. Then it found it but wouldn't allow the remote control, then it lost the microwave again, I haven't been able to add it again. I deleted the app a couple of times, downloaded it again, it didn't work still. This is horrible.

The app is terrible. Took me weeks (and multiple calls to support) to connect when we bought the range. Then after the first oven software update, it would not connect anymore. The range is connected to wifi and to the internet, responds when pinged through its IP address, I can even turn the light in remotely. But that's it, nothing else works on the app, which keeps telling me to enable remote control. What a waste of time (the range itself, on the other hand, is a beauty)

Awful! I've had the commercial style range for a couple of months. Love it! I hope my turkey is cooking for Thanksgiving right now. I'm trying to use the temp probe function which only works with this god-awful app. I finally got the cycle to start after 30 minutes of trying every option, combo, reset, etc. 30 minutes later I tried to check the temp and the app shows the oven as 'ready to cook'. I'm running the oven manually now (I think). Wish me luck! KitchenAid - you've got a problem!
