The hardware of my smart commercial range is beautiful, but this app is a disaster. The connectivity is abysmal. I’ve rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app repeatedly, but it only connects once in a blue moon. It takes dozens of attempts just to get a basic connection. For a premium commercial-grade product, the software is embarrassing. If you want a smart kitchen, look elsewhere because the app is a total failure.

Terrible Redesign of the app. I understand the need to refresh the UI, but whoever thought adjusting the temperature by going horizontal vs vertical should get a 1 on their PMP. One would know that going up and down is more intuitive than the smaller target box to go left and right. The previous layout was more intuitive than this drivel. I bet Whirlpool outsourced this instead of keeping it in house. Like they do with GIS.

It found my microwave and allowed me to use the remote control. Then I paired it with Alexa and worked for a few minutes. I removed it from list to troubleshoot, add it again to fix the bug with Alexa. It would not find my microwave again. Then it found it but wouldn't allow the remote control, then it lost the microwave again, I haven't been able to add it again. I deleted the app a couple of times, downloaded it again, it didn't work still. This is horrible.
