Your location will be shown when you are within the boundaries of a map.

The accuracy of the displayed location is dependent both on your android device and the accuracy/scale of the maps. The accuracy will typically be best when you are near the center of a map.

Sweep is one of the most useful outdoor apps I've used. It overlays your GPS location on official park maps, so you always know exactly where you are. It includes all TX State Parks, all U.S. National Parks, city parks in TX and others. I use it both when exploring new parks and when leading conservation projects. It makes it easy to find the fastest route, help visitors find trails or parking areas, and navigate with confidence. I also love that it can reduce the need for printed park maps.

This app is awesome! It's nice because we used to have the park map in one hand and phone in the other for taking pics. But now we can do both with just the phone! The maps update our location on the trail as we're hiking, so we know exactly where we are and where to go. There is an option to download maps offline so no service is not a worry. The new features are also really cool! Like the Texas map that shows all parks as color coded pins, or the collapsible trail info windows in the maps.

This app is so helpful and easy to use! I'm so excited to explore trails I didn't even know existed but are literally within 30 minutes of me. This is an amazing app and the live tracking really helped me navigate some really confusing trails. Excellent ❤️
