About this app

ThingsBook is your home for long-form writing and meaningful collecting.

Built for people who love to write, reflect, and preserve the moments that shape their lives, ThingsBook combines text-centric storytelling with beautiful organization to create a personal space that grows with you.

This is not about quick posts or fleeting trends.
It is about capturing what you did, how you felt, and what you care about in lasting detail.

Write freely
ThingsBook is designed around writing. Real writing. Journaling, reflections, memories, and everyday thoughts without character limits or pressure. Whether you are documenting your routines, unpacking big moments, or simply getting your thoughts down, ThingsBook gives your words the space they deserve.

Collect what matters
Organize everything you write into structured, beautiful collections. Books, food, travel, fashion, hobbies, ideas, goals, and experiences all live together in one place. Your life, curated your way.

Build your personal archive
Your writing and collections become a long-term digital record. A living library of who you are, what you love, and where you have been. Nothing disappears. Everything remains part of your story.

Post publicly, with friends, or just for yourself. Write when inspiration strikes. Step away when you need to. There is no pressure to perform and no fear of falling behind.

Made for real life
You do not need perfect photos or big announcements. ThingsBook is for everyday moments. Morning routines. Favorite meals. Songs on repeat. Books that changed you. Places that feel like home.

Helpful tools that support your flow
Smart prompts, search, and thoughtful organization make it easier to document your life naturally, without turning reflection into work.

Your space, your pace
ThingsBook is your corner of the internet. Not a feed to chase. A place to build.

Write your life.
Collect your world.
Keep what matters.

Decent app, but falsely advertised? (kinda?) I downloaded this with the intent of keeping track of homestuck because of how complicated the plot is, and that's what it showed people doing in the advertisement. I might just be new to the app, but I wasn't really expecting it to be more like any other social media platform. Obviously there's going to be other uses, but like, cmon. I really just want to keep track of my interests, and I could have done this on literally any other social media app.

Very difficult to use. The way the ads were showing, it seemed like you could collect books from various sites to access them all in one place without having to go to each app. Turns out its just another discussion board and despite calling them "collections" you can only officially add one book at a time, per post. Sure you can write in some others, but most of the posts are just: "These are my favorites! Which ones do you like?" So it's a pretty big disappointment.

Great concept, but definitely needs a lot of work. I want to be able to add a lot of things all at once. Also, webtoon Canvas series are not in the selection, and I can't add photos of the canvas series so I have to choose blank covers if I enter them in manually. I want to be able to have all the anime I've seen, all the places I want to go to, and all the webtoons I've read all in one spot, like collections. But those lists are LONG. I'll stick around tho cuz I really think it has potential!
