Ratings and reviews

Long time player who really appreciated the human made art that went into the game. It was worth purchasing skins because of the amount of care that went into them. So to see that the game is using so AI in their art now is extremely disappointing. It feels cheap and worthless. Will not be buying any new skins or playing until human art is pushed back into focus

I've been playing since the beginning. I've been a content creator and caster for it, I love this game! Or at least, I used to. The lore is still awesome, mysterious, scary, etc. The thrill of pulling off a great kite as a survivor or a great chase as a hunter is still unmatched. But it just has too many issues now: way too big (20+ gb), AI art, unbalanced gameplay, power creep, feature creep, too much monetization, too many events/minigames, pointless quests, pointless rewards, etc. I'm done.

I have been playing the game since 2019, here is an update on the AI issues: they have stopped using ai for their art and skins, but have not released a statement hence why I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I have always enjoyed the game and I have met many friends from it I would say give the game a chance and it might surprise you with how fun it is, skins in game do cost money, but there are some free ones that you can get by grinding fragments, hope to see a few more new players!
