It's a snake-eat-snake world: Slither around the screen to collect energy, grow bigger and devour your competition in this fast-paced arcade game.

You'll start out as a small snake in each round. Eat energy pellets to expand your size, and surround or cut in front of other snakes to explode them into (edible) segments. But watch out — because they'll be trying to do the same to you. In this reptilian battle royale, how long can you stay in one piece?

Netflix members can put their reflexes to the test with this mobile version of the classic .io arcade game played by hundreds of millions. Fine-tuned touch controls give you the precision you need to outmaneuver every other sneaky serpent on the field of battle.

SLITHER, EAT, SURVIVE

• Dart in front of other snakes and watch them explode when they hit you head on — then eat them as fast as you can to bulk up.
• Use the boost button to increase your speed at crucial moments. But deploy it wisely, since you'll lose mass each time you boost.

• Your score increases with your size; stay alive to thrive and try to set a new personal record with each round.

Ratings and reviews

Fun. Very much like the original, except this one has more modern elements added to it. Control would probably be better if we could just use our finger to control the snake's direction instead of a virtual joystick – I often forget that I have to use it for controlling the snake's direction, but it seems to work right most of the time. Overall, it's quite a fun game... 👍🏻😄

Great upgrade to the classic, but my progress isn't saving when I close & reopen. (Update) Minus a star. I did reachout & spent sometime getting a hold of someone just to find out this is a known issue. Why send me on a goose chase if you already knew this? (Update 2) I appreciate the attempt to fix the issue +1 star, but the game gets stuck in downloading data screen. I've updated the app, tried signing out/in, clearing data/cache, & reinstalling. When it does load there's no saved progress 😕

i played this game back when it was still known as slither.io, & its nice to see how much the game has improved. my favorite feature is the new boss mode, it prevents people from just making bots to spend all day ruining the experience for others, it also adds a fun challenge having to reach the control points while dodging all the other players, & due to that it now feels like an actual game! the only issue i have is the controls but that is just how mobile gaming is but overall its pretty fun!
