You're already studying a language. This is where you practice it.
Courses teach. Apps explain. Neither has time for the part that actually builds the skill: the reps. Use Tulbrain alongside whatever you are already learning with. It does not ask you to switch.
WHAT YOU GET TODAY: THE LANGUAGES MODULE
Six languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian and French.
3,285 practice units per language, drawn from a real A0 to C2 corpus. Words and phrases at every level; full paragraph readings from B1 up. Behind them sit 22,990 media files: 19,710 audio recordings and 3,280 images.
The guided A0 to C2 path is in Early Access. The material is there at every level; the route through it is still being built, in the open.
HOW A WORD GETS IN
Every word arrives as an image and a sound. That pairing is the anchor.
Your own language is in there too: under the word when you first meet it, on the back of a card, as the prompt or the hint. It checks you; it is not what you build on. In the listening drills it is not on screen at all.
Going through your first language to reach your second is what makes you freeze mid-sentence. Using it to check yourself costs you nothing.
80% SHOULD FEEL LIKE NOTHING
The other 20% is work, and pretending otherwise is a lie. You have tried painless, and you know it did not work. In the Languages module, the deliberate work is pronunciation, reading and writing. We tell you where the hard part is instead of hiding it.
PLAY IS THE MECHANISM
Play is not a reward you collect after the learning happens. It is how acquisition happens, and it is what makes the other 80% feel like nothing. You will do a hundred repetitions inside a game and quit at ten in a drill.
WHERE TULBRAIN IS GOING — NOT IN THIS VERSION
Tulbrain is built one module at a time on a single engine: implicit acquisition. The Languages module is the first, and the only one in this release. Everything below is our roadmap, not a feature of this app:

HOW AI FITS
Most AI in education does the work for you: it translates, summarizes, answers, and your brain ends up exactly where it started. Tulbrain is built for the opposite: AI as a training partner, not a substitute. That work has started with a conversational chat. It is not a live feature inside the modules, and we will not list it as one until it is.
