The VpnService is an essential part of our application and is used to implement our core feature—total
network traffic blocking. Here is how it works:


1. Creating a Local VPN Tunnel: When you activate the block in NetTide, the app creates a local (on-device)
VPN tunnel.
2. Blocking Traffic: All outgoing traffic from all applications on your phone is routed to this tunnel,
which is configured as a "blackhole." This means the traffic is not redirected to any external server but
is instead securely blocked within the device itself.
3. Privacy and Security: It is important to emphasize that NetTide is not a classic VPN service. We do not
collect, store, or redirect your personal data or network traffic to any remote servers. All processing
occurs exclusively on your device. The VpnService is used only as a tool to create firewall rules.
