About this app

Every Android app is built from separate screens called activities. Most apps put just one of them in your app drawer, but many contain dozens more — a settings sub-page, a diagnostic panel, a device information screen — with no icon of their own.

Activity Explorer lists all of them, lets you open them directly, and lets you pin the ones you use to your home screen.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CANNOT DO

Android protects screens that a developer has marked private to their own app. Activity Explorer still lists those, greyed out, and tells you in plain language why they will not open. No app can open them — that is an operating system rule, not a missing feature here. Activity Explorer does not try to work around it.

PRIVACY

Activity Explorer collects nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no network code of any kind. The list of installed apps is read on your device and never leaves it.

Your favourites and recent list are stored in the app's private storage and are deleted when you uninstall.

The app does not request the broad "query all packages" permission, so it sees only apps that have a launcher icon. It requests no runtime permissions at all.
