Check the internet connection your TV actually uses. Network Speed Test TV measures download speed, upload speed and latency directly on Android TV, with clear results and controls designed for your remote.

ONE BUTTON TO START
Start a test from the main screen. Follow the live speed gauge and separate latency, download and upload graphs. Cancel at any time with the on-screen button or your remote's Back button.

UNDERSTAND YOUR CONNECTION
See measured speeds in Mbps, HTTPS request latency in milliseconds and latency variation (jitter). The app identifies your active connection type, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet or VPN, and selects a measurement endpoint automatically.

GUIDANCE FOR YOUR TV
Music, SD video, HD video, UHD / 4K and gaming indicators help you interpret a completed result. These are approximate recommendations based on measured bandwidth and, for gaming, latency and jitter. They are not playback tests or guarantees for a particular streaming or game service.

BUILT FOR THE BIG SCREEN
A landscape interface, readable results and clear focus highlighting make it easy to navigate with a D-pad remote. No phone companion, account, advertisements, subscriptions or in-app purchases are required.

SHARE WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Send a completed result as text through a compatible sharing app installed on your TV. Results remain in the current app session; there is no account or permanent test-history database.

BEFORE YOU TEST
Pause streaming, downloads and other heavy traffic. Tests use real internet data and can incur data charges. Application payloads are limited to 200 MB download and 100 MB upload per test; network overhead is additional. Most tests finish in about 30 seconds or less. Leaving the app stops an active test.

Measurements use a third-party HTTPS service. That service receives your public IP address and test traffic. Speeds depend on your TV, local connection, VPN, routing and server conditions, and may differ from advertised line rates or other tools. Internet access and a reachable measurement service are required. Review the in-app privacy policy for details.
