I got this originally to listen to random stories and blog posts I would make into text files by copying the pages into a word processor on my phone. It works great for that, but recently in using the same approach to listen to college textbooks while I work. This app is one of the biggest facilitators of me being able to stay on top of my classes. If I wasn't a poor as heck college student I would give them all of my money, they've earned it
Works great My greatest needs are text to speech and being able to store books on external SD card in a directory I created. Win!! Position syncing is a bit cumbersome but works. Lots of fine tuning of display and controls is available. Setup can be daunting , but patience will be rewarded. I am a former aldiko and moon reader plus user. Running galaxy s7, 6.01 os. I am a paying supporter and appreciated no ads in the free version. Happy day.
The best reader on the market I love it because it's a great piece of software, which give me all the options I need. And to me options matter, because customization makes it exactly the way I want it! Options are freedom. No annoying ads, no nagging for purchasing, I just felt like making a donation - this guy totally deserves it! Thanks a million!
Tried UB Reader, even paid for the full version. Was totally disappointed in it. Couldn't read without locking up, skipping entire sentences and support is null. Been looking for a reader to replace it that would read my books to me as I sleep. This app is awesome. Reads smooth and without error. Very pleased!
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Trust me this is the best ebook reader I have found. Works perfect. Love everything about this reader. NO STINKING ADS FLASHING IN YOUR FACE AND TOTALLY FREE. (Thanks author) 5 star app and 5 stars for no ads.. Get it. You will love it. Better then all the rest bar none. NO crashes or any problem found. If I find one I will revise. Keep up the good work..
Near perfect text-to-speech reader. A few features would make it perfect, at least for me. 1) Ability to alter misspoken/mispronounced words [perhaps this is an Android setting(?). IDK]. 2) Ability to move or minimize the transparent text-to-speech audio controls. Or move the controls to the area where the other controls reside. The floating controls block entire paragraphs or portions of paragraphs, making the paragraphs unreadable. 3) Ability to start/stop text-to-speech reading at specific paragraphs instead of having to start at beginning of each page. 4) Ability to set this as default app for certain file formats. This is not available on any of my devices for this app. Aside from these changes the app works flawlessly and without a single crash. For long pages I use a different app to avoid having to start at beginning of page. I prefer AI Reader though. Why is the logo mooning me?
