I click on the WABI news app, but before I can see anything newsworthy, I must close out of a full screen pop-up advertisement. Only then do I get to choose what I want to hear. I click on the weather section because there is a pending snowstorm. Instead of getting an up to date weather report, I am redirected to a place where I can download a separate app. Needless to say, I didn't do that, I removed their app instead. I'll search for a better place to get news that's important to me.

I only downloaded the app because the website is terrible with dangerous pop-ups & I couldn't find a way to stream a full newscast. The app looks like it was made before 2010 & isnt much better than the website. Watching a newscast wasn't easy, it kept freezing, kicking me out or automatically disabling sound. Website & app are not user-friendly & a majority of your viewers are elderly or not tech savvy. If you don't use the app yourself, download it. Use it for a few hours and see what I mean

Used it for weather alerts and local news. Glitchy, but I wanted to support local broadcasting. The past couple days, the app opens to online "polls" with right-wing talking points. The polls are actually just generating email and contact lists, is misleading. Deleting app now.
