VPN2Share is an application designed to share a device's VPN connection with other devices on the same network. Its functionality is especially useful in situations where you need to extend the benefits of a VPN to multiple devices without requiring root access. Here's how it works in a typical scenario:

1. Device A is using a VPN:Suppose Device A is using a VPN app, like SocksIP VPN, to keep its connection secure and private.

2. Share VPN connection with Device B:Device A wants to share the VPN connection with Device B, but doing so without root access can be complicated.

3. Download and configure VPN2Share: On Device A, the VPN2Share application is downloaded and installed. Then, server mode is started in the application.

4. Installing VPN2Share on Device B:On Device B, the VPN2Share application is installed. Next, configure the application in client mode and enter the IP address and port of Device A.

5. Creating a VPN connection on Device B: Device B creates a VPN connection using the VPN2Share app. This VPN connection is used to route traffic through Device A and therefore through the VPN on Device A.

6. Secure Connection and Use: Once the VPN connection is established on Device B, all your internet traffic is routed through Device A, which is protected by the original VPN (SocksIP VPN). This way, Device B also enjoys a secure and private connection without the need for root access.

As a secondary feature VPN2Share offers a web interface that allows you to share files remotely with other devices on the same network. This facilitates efficient and secure file transfer, improving collaboration and information sharing.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It lets you create a virtual adapter on Windows which connects via a proxy server on the phone. It uses phone data (or vpn if started) instead of using just a proxy server on the phone. I am not sure how it works on Android. It looks like it just uses a proxy (which I think is a limitation of Android). One hiccup I noticed is that it will not connect Android clients if a Windows client is connected first.

Working well for me. I've discovered you can input the IP addresses you get from VPN2Share server. For devices that don't have a proxy setting(like the Xbox). You can input the VPN sever address into the DNS section. And Wala... You now are on a proxy connection. I did this for my Xbox Series S and FireTV stick. 👍

I've tried several other similar apps, so far i found that VPN2Share is the only one that works nicely both for the client and server sides. Thanks dev, keep going!
