Ratings and reviews

I say 3 stars due to the fact of it constantly crashing. I can go days without playing cause it'll crash before I can do anything. I've tried getting to the graphics settings but can't cause it'll crash. I love this game when it playable. but like 75% of the time I can only play for a few seconds before it crashes. I try every day but seems like only 1 day out of the week I can play for 10 minutes then crash. it's been a common issue for a lot of people I noticed.

The game starts out really fun with fast progression and a lot of free rewards. It gets really predatory once they know you've invested a good amount of time and effort into it. You are constantly being bombarded with limited time sales that offer really powerful boosts so it feels awful if you aren't able to buy them. The microtransactions feel necessary to not feel completely walled off at many points in game and all of it goes into the rng weapon draw system where the rates feel abysmal.

Game has potential, but gameplay itself ends up being very linear, too rng-based and is very predatory with how much it wants to get into your wallet. Almost like regular MapleStory. You can play f2p, but the per week limits on cubes, artifact boxes etc. the stuff that could give you huge boosts, are very low. Then again this was made by the same company who got fined for fudging rates. That said, seeing this game makes me believe an offline Maplestory game for sale is possible and would rock!
