This app has been developed to specifically cover the contents of the Organic Chemistry units of the G.C.E.(A/L) Chemistry syllabus. The core contents of the syllabus is concerned with the characteristic reactions of selected classes of compounds.Only the reactions specified in the syllabus are covered, and for any given reaction only the main product/products are considered. Experimental conditions are given only if they are critical.
we hope that the app will be useful to students to understand and appreciate organic chemistry, and to move away from rote memorization of isolated facts. This will build a solid foundation for more advanced study if the student wishes to do so.
