Paint is a simple raster graphics editor that has been included with all versions of ms. The program opens and saves files in win bitmap (BMP), JPEG, GIF, PNG, and single-page TIFF formats. The program can be in color mode or two-color black-and-white, but there is no grayscale mode. For its simplicity and that it is included with win, it rapidly became one of the most used applications in the early versions of Win, introducing many to painting on a computer for the first time. It is still widely used for simple image manipulation tasks.

Please continue working on this. So far, it gets three stars (mediocre). I have installed this app on two devices, and the way this app behaves is not consistent, except with the memory lapses; there are issues with app's memory. The app requires that I access my browser and give permissions for memory storage! Come again? l thought this was a freestanding app, not something dependent on a browser. The extra themes are nice, but there doesn't seem to be a color-editor. Trade-off much? More work.

A classic tool to help me make basic edits to graphics. The special select function isn't available in other apps. It allows you to drag & drop specific sections of your graphic somewhere else, which is great! I would definitely add that 5th star if I could open two images at once or copy a selection from one edit and paste in another (just like I do on desktop). Also, copying/pasting a selection errors out with access denied. Thanks for making this app!

its a charming app to use,it captures the retro ms paint vibe really well.However,the app itself is broken.Saving doesnt work,features like layers,canvas size are missing,you cant rotate shapes,the eraser and shapes doesnt have opacity,the lesso tool for some reason starts above where you clicked,you cant flip selection area/shapes,the resizeing for custom shapes doesnt work,resizing 5+6 pointed stars dont change their ratio,some fonts dont work,you cant fill using the lesso.
