Great game. It's very fun to check in on throughout your day. I like the animal rescue and leveling system. My only gripe is that when you're short on coins, you can't really do much. (Other than play Funky Bus.) I think a good addition would be to make funky bus give you coins for playing it so you can rescue more animals. Also maybe make it so you can watch an ad to get discobux/coins and a system to get coins with discobux. Also being able to tap animals rapidly to make money or make them more awake or something would be nice. Would rate 5 stars if some of these things happened.

A good game for children or easily entertained adults. This game is fun when you first start it because everything is new, but once you invest a few hours into it, you come to realize you have experienced everything this game has to offer. There are no upgrades. There is no end-game. It's literally just playing the same puzzle over and over to collect more animals, and that's it. If that kind of "relaxing" mind-numbing gameplay appeals to you, then you will love this game. It does play well for what it is. No crashes, and it doesn't take a lot of resources to run. There is a bug where the notifications don't take you to the app when you tap them. It's not big, but it's kind of expected with a bigger developer like NimbleBit.

I have only been playing the game for a few minutes but so far I am enjoying it. It is easy to play and I like the little parties, surprises, positive energy of the patrons & animals, not to mention the party bus. That is too awesome. Everybody needs a party bus driven by unicorns, dinosaurs, etc. Well, not speaking for everybody but, I know I do at least. Why?......Well......Why not? We're all pretty ponies and grrranimals! (Whether we admit it or not huh ¬:3)

Should give us quests to keep us entertained. I love how we can actually earn Discobux without hacks. But rescue prices are getting a bit too...pricey. Also, I would LOVE it if you guys reduced the Animal Amount for each unlocked biome. And please add more animals! I already have all the animals in Farm and Outhopper. Captivating background music is amazing. I love how when you think you're about to get bored of the game, you find the funky bus and the space exhibits and trophies and other little extra fun things. to fill up waiting time you can always get the tips from visitors, although i wish there were higher value coins after 1k as you get to higher levels. i also don't like that however skilled i get, my sheep will still sleep after 30 min - maybe add more time until sleep as you free more.

Recent update bug? I am chasing the last few achievements for this game and noticed today that the google play sign doesn't happen at game launch any more. Furthermore, I can't seem to find the Google Play controller to manually sign in. Since the store page still lists the game as having achievement and Google play support I am assuming it is just a bug with the recent update.

98% Perfect No bugs no pop ups. advertisements are optional for another try if you don't find the pattern . New little things become available to keep interest; space missions, party bus, ball shop. Everything runs smoothly with no glitches. There may be only one problem, there's no cloud save or as such, so if you uninstall or get a new phone... you have to start again.
FANTASTIC Great game, I played this on the past a few years ago and I got plenty of animals. The only sad thing is it cannot be retrived because there is no google sign in or facebook sign in for my data to be saved. I wish I could retrive my old zoo. Well, time for a new start for me.
So I really loved this game thought it was AMAZING! And I still do but I have a problem so every time I play the game it's been making me lose all my progress and of course I love this game so I decide to start over and get my progress back and then yeah I was actually really far! But as soon as I turned off the game "Welcome to Disco Zoo! You can discover soo much more animals here and most importantly you can have Disco parties! So let's rescue your first animals!!!"
Fun, addictive, simple gameplay! The game itself gets 5 stars for clean interfaces, simple and addictive gameplay, and art and sprite work! However, the notifications are a little iffy. I get notifications that my animals have fallen asleep during a disco party, and also the push notifications (when tapped on) don't lead to open the game, the notification just goes away. Other than notifications, it's a great game!
Pleasantly surprised. Wasn't expecting to like this game but it is very fun! Edit: this game no longer has cloud support (it didn't work anyways) but it's very hard to stay motivated when all your animals disappear every time you get a new phone or reset your old on ;-;
I adore this game, but unfortunately, it is incompatible with Lollipop (app force closes, at least when it's connected to Google Play services), or, to be more specific, the ART runtime. While I realize that only a tiny number of Nexus and Motorola devices currently have Lollipop, device manufacturers seem more on the ball with this update than in the past. It is also incompatible with ART on KitKat, but since Dalvik is no longer available in Lollipop, it's now entirely incompatible. Fix it.
I used to like this game and played a ton and got quite far it used to be five stars. However after returning with a new phone and not playing my zoo was gone. I utilised the cloud save but a recent update has meant I can't obtain my saved game. This has caused me to lose all Progress. As well the restore purchase feature gets stuck on contacting server so cannot restore my zoopedia purchase.
AMAZING!!! So addictive and amazing. Incredibly easy to get used to and you will never get tired of it. One of the best things about this game is that you keep gaining coins even when you're not playing. Has all the animals in the entire world!!! I wouldn't rate it anything less than 10/10. Going to download the other game - Tiny Towers!
Cute and fun! Disco zoo is a great way to pass the time and immerse yourself in an adorable world where all animals sound like they have inhaled three balloons of helium. The wait times are nearly non existent which is a great plus with these kind of mobile games.
I loved it until.... I loved it so much! I had about 257 animals and it was super fun! I closed it for like an hour. When I came back to check on my animals, they were gone! Not only were they gone but it completely restarted the game! I was really mad because now I have to redo all my work.
Frustrating I keep losing coins after logging out and in again, message tells me how many I've earned but when I click the total is anywhere between 1k-100k short depending on how much I have in the kitty. Takes longer to get to next level because of it. Apart from that, completely addictive!

Fun to pass the time but... Game is enjoyable but the items cost a ridiculous amount of coins which take forever to earn. At one point I lost all my progress, CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER RESPONDS to emails. Don't invest too much time in it.
Awesome !!! One of the best zoo game i ever played on android. so many animals and feature + idle money. the only thing i wish / request is please make a one click button to wake all animals at once. with more and more animals unlocked, it become a bit nuisance ^^
Ads are not for kids? I was playing through the game and I watched an ad for 5 more trys but I'm on my school's wifi and it blocked the ad and said "this website is categorized as: adult" I this is a little kids game! (The game is still fun)
Excuse me, but... After the update, I can't seem to find the google icloud option to back up my data. Was it removed after the update? On another note, this game is fantastic and one of my favorites. There is no game like it on the app store.
Very cute game and I just started, but I closed out of it for like 10 minutes and completely reset my progress? I was about on the third animal area so I wasn't far but it's still a bit concerning. If it happens again I'm uninstalling because I don't want to have to do everything all over again and again.
Fun game. Only issue is with the get extra attempts after watching an ad feature when rescuing animals. I watch the ad and return to a black screen. I found out that you can press back to get back to the game, but I don't get my extra attempts and the sound quits working. I've tried waiting at the black screen and tapping it in various places, but it just seems to be broken right now. Plz fix and will love game :)
I love this game, but... I was in the middle of playing and it said I had earned 8k while I was gone, and then most of my animals disappeared. I've seen a few other people mention this as well, so I'm guessing its fairly common, but it's highly discouraging.
It is so cute. The game was a bit confusing but I got the hang of it pretty quick. I love the disco part. The game is pretty amazeballs. AND THEORY LITTLE NOISES THEORY ANIMSLS MAKE ARE ADORABLE. The only thing that could improve this is breeding different animals and the same ones to make baby animals. 😊so cute.
It's OK, but… Love, love, love it. The only problem/s are that the hats, decor and especially the discos are very pricey for a starter. If there was any way of earning discobucks faster such as watching ads for them or something. Overall the game is great but if you could just try and help out that would be great and then I know I can give you 5 stars.
Good game. 1)You don't feel forced into micro transactions 2) Everything they had added enhanced the game 3) Lost cloud sync which is unacceptable in a game with in-app purchases, no matter how much Google's API changes 4)There's so much to do without being overwhelming
Notification bug since update Great game, but notifications are screwed up at the moment. Tapping them no longer opens the app, and they happen even during discos when it's impossible for animals to fall asleep. Please fix it!!
It was fun at first but one day when i tried to get into the app it just showed a blue screen. A few days later it just restarted. I would not recommend this app if you cannot pay for stuff online. You have to pay to see all the patterns execpt for the farm patterns.
Just like tiny tower the further you get in the game the more boring it gets until you just don't play anymore. The first couple of weeks though it is an excellent game and you get addicted to unlocking more and more animals. If it didn't slow down so much in the later stages I'd give it 5 stars.
Make it so the game is connected to the cloud and make a fun way to earn money like playing funky bus or something like that. There's also a few glitches where it says all your animals are asleep when they're not and when you do get notified it spams you with it for a second. Please fix these!
Woo-hoo!!! ME LUV DIS GAME!!!!! I've been playing for, what, six months or so and I am totally addicted. I have moon animals, and im up to polar. My sis accidentally erased EVERYTHING on my device and it is fortunately still there. 🤗
Well You don't HAVE to watch ad videos, but they are so beneficial you will end up spending a lot of your time doing so. Would also be nice too have the option of account log in to secure progress.
Update: changing from a 4 to a 5 star review after a great support staff experience. Quick and thoughtful resolution to an issue I had with purchase restoration- thanks Dani! 💚 Literally my ONLY complaint about Disco Zoo is that the status bar notifications about sleeping animals don't open the app when you tap.
THE BEST I actually love this app so much. The game is so cute and it isn't frustrating and it's fun to take care of the animals. My only complaint is that there should be a daily challenge to get discobux. FYI: Tiddlicks still don't have water!!!!
So dang fun heck ya It makes me laugh so much and it makes the kids laugh too. I don't have kids but if I did, they'd laugh at it because it's so dang fun. Addictive oh yes
Lost data ;s I had gave the game a brake for about half an hour and all my progress had be gone!it's a good game in all but I LOST MY UNICORN .it took me a long time and I'm kind sad about that. If you can fix this I will rate 5 stars again. Please and thank you.
I like this game. It's not that addicting but you still want to evolve and get as many animals as you can. I gave this app only 4 stars because it can be improved some how like adding a few more minigames.
Cute little spin on the match-3 genre A nice little time waster. If you don't want to be patient and wait hours for your coin to accumulate, you'll have to spend real money--but such is the nature of these sort of free to play apps. I like the cute animals and the humour, but I likely won't be playing this for too long.

I convinced management to let me stock decorations for the animal habitats. Decor items can be accessed the same way as hats.
Visitors to the zoo keep losing their hats! We’ve discovered several new types of hats that the animals insist on wearing.
Some visitors to the zoo expressed concern over a lack of water available to the Outback animals. I’ve made sure they are getting enough water.
Finally, we brought the zoo exterminator back in to take care of some bugs.
