I've only been using the app for about an hour, but it seems like something I could use it habitually, if only it worked smoothly. During lessons keyboard input slows down extremely, causing a LOT of frustration. I just had the application crash in the middle of a lesson as well, losing my progress. I truly hope this app improves

I have been using Ninchinese for a couple of years now, and it has been an invaluable resource for me. I love that you can practice both the Chinese (by writing pinyin) and their English meanings. There is plenty of repetition in the vocabulary sections. When you learn grammar and dialogues, it's not just random sentences, but a proper conversation with natural speach, and importantly, you learn all the new words first, before you see them used in the grammar or dialogue sections.

The concept is good and has a lot of potential. Right now I'd rate the user interface and experience 4 stars and I add one to support the team and young app. Recommending settings to move between more fun or serious studying, a notification when it's the user's turn in a challenge, and overall less text or option to hide text such as "type the pinyin/English" when it's clear for regular users. Also, more clarity about whether there's advanced material, how far. But good, unique app, jiayou!
