About this app

Nine VPN is a free VPN and proxy for Android. Tap once and your connection is
wrapped in an encrypted tunnel — on café Wi-Fi, on hotel networks, on mobile
data, anywhere you would rather not hand your traffic to a stranger's router.

No account. No card. No subscription. Nine VPN has no paid tier at all.

WHY NINE VPN

• One-tap connect — no protocol menus, no server config, no setup
• Strong encryption on every connection, on every server
• Automatic failover — if a server is unhealthy, Nine VPN moves you to the next
best one and tells you exactly where you landed
• Fastest Available picks the quickest server for you
• Auto-connect can bring the tunnel up as soon as you open the app
• Clean, fast, modern Android design — no clutter, no dark patterns
• Small download, light on battery

HOW FREE TIME WORKS

Nine VPN is genuinely free, and it is honest about how that is paid for.

You get free connection time every day. When it runs low, watch a short video
and add more — a quick top-up or a longer one, your choice. That is the whole
model. Nothing is locked behind a purchase, because there is nothing to
purchase. Every server and every feature is available to every user from the
first launch.

SERVER LOCATIONS

Connect through locations including the United Kingdom (London), Germany
(Frankfurt), Switzerland (Zurich), Singapore, and the United States (New York
and Los Angeles) — or let Fastest Available choose for you.

BUILT ON A MODERN CORE

Nine VPN runs on a modern, high-performance tunnelling core with TLS-secured
transports, so it stays fast on congested networks where older VPN protocols
stall. You never have to know that — there is no protocol picker to get wrong.

GOOD FOR

• Public and shared Wi-Fi — airports, cafés, hotels, campuses, co-working
• Keeping your browsing private from the network you are sitting on
• Adding a layer of security on mobile data
• Anyone who wants a secure VPN proxy without a monthly bill

PERMISSIONS

Nine VPN uses Android's VPN service to route your traffic through the encrypted
tunnel. Android shows you a system confirmation the first time, and you can
disconnect at any moment from the app or the notification.
