PDF Editor is a lightweight Android companion for everyday PDF work. Pick files from your device, preview pages with a fast native renderer, and use built-in tools where they are fully implemented—without sending your documents to strangers unless you explicitly choose AI chat (which uses your own backend when configured).
WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY
• Reader & AI — Open a PDF, flip through pages, and (when your developer-hosted backend is configured) ask questions about extracted text. Preview is read-only; your original file stays unchanged on disk.
• Delete pages — Choose a PDF, mark which pages to remove, and save a new PDF through the system file picker. Great for trimming scans or presentations before sharing.
• Image to PDF — Select photos from your gallery (in order). Each image becomes one PDF page. Save the result wherever you like. Handy for receipts, whiteboards, or multi-page scans.
• Privacy & disclaimers — In-app legal copy explains how data is handled and what the app does not guarantee.
WHAT IS STILL LIMITED OR PLANNED
Several home tiles currently open the reader preview or a placeholder screen while dedicated flows (merge, split, crop, compress, conversion, security tools, etc.) are built out. Check each tile’s subtitle in the app for the latest intent.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• PDF Editor does not replace a desktop publishing suite. Complex layout edits, form filling, redaction, and batch enterprise workflows may require specialized software.
• Ask AI sends extracted text and your question to a server you or your developer operate—not a magic anonymous cloud inside the APK. Configure the base URL in your build if you use this feature.
• Always keep backups of important documents before any edit or export.
We hope PDF Editor saves you time on quick viewing, cleanup, and image-to-PDF tasks on the go.
