NivoSec helps users deal with suspicious contacts, scams, extortion, and other forms of online abuse. Users can check phone numbers or Telegram usernames and see if other users have already reported them.
If you have been contacted by a suspicious or malicious person via a phone number or Telegram username, you can report the entry in NivoSec. Submitted reports are not automatically published but are moderated and reviewed before being released. A report within NivoSec is not an official complaint and does not replace reporting to the police, authorities, or the respective platform.
In addition, NivoSec provides guidance on how to respond to suspicious contacts, scams, threats, or extortion and how to better protect your personal data, accounts, and login credentials. If you need further assistance, you can contact an available support person through the application and receive help assessing the situation and determining the next steps.
NivoSec is free to use. A limited number of searches are possible without registration. For additional searches, users can create a free account with an email address and password. There are no paid subscriptions, premium plans, or in-app purchases.
Reports submitted by users do not constitute proof that a person has committed a crime or acted unlawfully. NivoSec is not a government agency or law enforcement body. In cases of imminent danger or potentially criminal activity, those affected should also contact the relevant authorities or the platform in question. NivoSec is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by Telegram.
