NKJV, The New King's James Version, is a modern language update of the original King James Version (KJV). It retains much of the traditional interpretation and sentence structure of the KJV. I have bundled study tools with the app; namely:
1. Easton's Bible Dictionary: a reference work on topics related to the Bible
2. The Gospel Harmony Table: a compilation of the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John into a single tabular format
3. A series of very short Bible lessons that explores salvific doctrine. Plus, an accompanying Q&A -- exploring doctrinal concepts in a question and answer format
4. Notable Events of the Old and New Testament
5. Hitchcock's Bible Names: lists the meanings of more than 2,500 names in the Bible

Ratings and reviews

It was wonderful until it got a bug in late June 2025 that sends you to the search page instead of the list of Bible books when you tap on "Genesis 1" at the top left corner.

The owner of the app went above and beyond to solve an issue if I could I would give it 10 stars

This is a very lovely Bible app, and the most beautiful thing about it is that it has no ads and no in-app purchases.. the developer is an honest person who focuses on preaching God's word without hindering it with financial gain.. I will use this app as my main English Bible app from now on!
