About this app

The New International Version (NIV) is a translation of the Bible into contemporary English: it is completely, no ads, no tracking etc. The King James Version of the Bible is the most accurate translation of the original scroll; but the English verbiage can be a bit hard to understood. The need for more contemporary English gave rise to the NIV.

I have bundled many study helps: Messianic Prophecies Module, Miracles and Parables of Christ, Notables Events (Old and New Testament), Bible Lessons and Q&A, Easton's Bible Dictionary, Hitchcock's Bible Names, Gospel Harmony Table and Ussher's Chronology).

The functionality is poor. No cut and paste that works. No ability to search for specific passages. Now appears not to have an update available. I will uninstall, unfortunately.

Google Play Unsupported device. 1. You're running a very outdated version of the app and ANDROID SDK 2. Post September 2025, Google will not support (Play) updates to apps where the host has an Android SDK below 35: your phone is on Android SDK 31 I would have gladly cut a custom version that runs on your phone, but that's moot at this poin

No trackers at all, only one permission required. Highly recommended. Quick response and the most honest bible app. Can there be option to have dark background, not purely black background? Thank you for your help.
