About this game

Knotwords is a minimal and elegant logic puzzle — with words.

The rules are simple: arrange the letters in each section so every word is valid, across and down.

Each puzzle may seem difficult at first — but like all my favorite newspaper puzzles, it gets easier as you progress. Each step guides you naturally towards the solution.

This is the kind of game I've been trying to make my whole career — I'm amazed Jack and I discovered this design. We hope you like it.

Love the gameplay, got far ahead from what I expected but have a level I want to reset, went into the drop-down menu to restart and no matter how many times I hit restart and confirm it won't do it. I don't want to have to go back and delete all the letters already on the board. Little inconvenience but overall pleasant gameplay EDIT: Lowered from 3 to 2 stars. only 20 puzzles then $12 bucks is too expensive for me. Only lets you play puzzle of the day after that.

New update finally letting me play January puzzles (half a month late!) and the lag seems to have gone. Like the game, I like that I could just get the unlocked version outside of a monthly subscription. The way the app chooses which cell the next letter goes into seems random and super annoying.

I've been playing this game for over 4 years and have over a 1500 day streak on my old phone, but setting up a new phone despite using the same profile and full device backup and restore did not restore my streaks or any of my achievements. I'm very heavily motivated by these kinds of things and starting over feels overwhelming to the point where I will probably uninstall and no longer play this game. I have tried to solve this problem every way I can think of but have come up empty each time.
