About this app

NostrClient is a fast, no-nonsense client for Nostr - the open, decentralized social protocol where your identity is a key pair you control, not an account a company can suspend or sell your data from.

Post and Follow
• Read a Following feed of people you follow, or browse Global to see what's happening across every relay you're connected to.
• Reply, repost, react, and bookmark notes like any social app - except every relay you use is your choice, and you can switch or add more at any time.

Private Messaging, Actually Private
• Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted (NIP-17) and metadata-shielded, so relays can't read your conversations or reliably tell who's talking to whom.
• Messages from people you don't follow land in Message Requests first - accept to move them to your inbox, or delete them outright.

Your Keys, Your Identity
• Log in with a NIP-07 browser extension (like Alby), or generate a key directly in the app.
• Encrypted with a passphrase you choose, stored only on your device.
• No account to create, no password reset, and no company standing between you and your identity.

No Ads, No Tracking, No Algorithm
• NostrClient doesn't run ads, doesn't sell data, and doesn't have an engagement algorithm quietly reordering your feed.
• What you see is what your relays actually have.

Key Features Included:
• Profile editing with avatar uploads
• Relay manager to view connections and add your own
• Hashtag and full-text search
• Real-time notifications for replies, reactions, and reposts
• Dark, mobile-first interface built for one-handed use

Nostr is an Open Protocol
NostrClient is one client among many, and you're never locked in. Your identity and your follows travel with you if you ever switch.
Post, message, and follow on Nostr encrypted DMs, no ads, you own your keys.
