Webcam Remote turns your Android phone or tablet into a secure local controller for a webcam connected to your Mac or Windows computer. Pair trusted devices on the same Wi-Fi or LAN, then preview the camera and create captures without standing beside the computer.

Use Webcam Remote to:
- Watch a live webcam preview
- Take JPEG photos remotely
- Start and stop silent H.264/MP4 video recording
- Switch between available webcams
- Choose Standard or High capture quality
- Mirror the preview or open it full screen
- Review photos and videos in Records
- Save, share, or delete completed captures

The capture computer remains in charge. It separately controls permission to view the webcam, take photos, record video, and select a camera. Camera and recording use are visibly indicated on that computer.

Webcam Remote operates directly on your local network. It requires no cloud account, cloud storage, advertising service, analytics, public streaming link, or internet relay. Mac and Windows can host webcams; Android and iOS are controller and Records platforms.

Only preview or record devices, people, and places when you have authorization and consent. Webcam Remote is not intended for covert or unattended surveillance.
