NuKids: A calm path into reading
NuKids is a calm, structured reading app designed for children ages 8–12 who are learning to decode words and connect sounds to letters.
Built on Structured Literacy and Orton–Gillingham inspired principles, NuKids supports decoding practice through clear, step-by-step reading experiences.
There are no timers, no scores, and no pressure.
Children move through carefully designed decoding sequences that support sound-to-letter learning, word building, and connected reading — one step at a time.
NuKids may be especially helpful for children who experience reading differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or decoding challenges, while remaining welcoming to any child learning to read.
