About this app

Namaz is the daily muslim prayer, also known as Salat or Salah. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and the best way of worshipping Allah the Almighty.

This app is an audio player for you to listen to the correct pronunciation of the prayers in Arabic. It will help you to learn the dua-invocations and parts of the Quran that are read inside the prayer. You will also have the texts in English transliteration and some illustrations to help you navigate through the process. All content is in accordance with the rules of the Hanafi school of law.

We strongly recommend that you learn to read the Arabic script. It will allow you to read the prayer in the best way and will give you access to the Holy Quran. The easiest and most effective way to learn both prayer and reading Arabic is to find a good teacher.

I enjoy the app since it helps me pray with meaning and do it slowly. The only thing I would like and please correct me if this is already a service, is for the listen section also allow you to switch out Quran ayats you either already memorized or are trying to memorize within salah so you can practice the ayats and surahs more. This would help people learn how to pray and to memorize the Quran with meaning.

5 stars for Iphone, 2 for android. i just switched to android and when i opened this app, I was extremely disappointed. It doesn' teven show prayer times. I was about to purchase the subscription on my iphone and now I am glad I did not. it is not even offered on the android. Great on iphone but I wish it had the same features on android.

Absolutely recommend this app for learning how to pray! Alhamdulillah, after using this app, I've memorised and learnt how to pray within a month. The speakers voice is very calming and it has different speed settings so you are able to understand and recite the words clearly. It also has the translation in english so you understand what you are reciting also. SubhanAllah, I highly recommend. JazakAllah khairan 🤎
