Never call from the wrong SIM again.

Two SIMs, two plans, two roles: work and private, home and abroad, cheap and expensive. If you use a dual SIM phone, you know the moment: the call is already ringing – on the wrong card. SimChooser takes care of it. Set your rules once, and the app picks the right SIM for every outgoing call, automatically, in the background.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Name your SIM cards, for example "Private" and "Work"
2. Create your rules – it takes minutes
3. Call as you always do. SimChooser decides while the call is being placed.

No shortcuts to remember, no dialer menus, no long press. It just works from your normal phone app, your contacts and every other app that starts a call.

YOUR RULES
• Contacts: always call this person from this SIM
• Contact groups: put entire address book labels on one SIM at once
• Number patterns: prefixes and country codes, e.g. everything starting with +43 goes out on your international SIM
• Schedules: weekday and time, e.g. Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 on the work SIM
• Locations: a radius around a point on the map, e.g. "Home" or "Office"
• Wi-Fi: connected to the office network? Then use the work SIM.
• Priority exceptions: important contacts override every other rule
• Roaming safeguard: abroad, pause all rules or force one specific SIM

A CLEAR ORDER, NO SURPRISES
Rules are evaluated in a fixed priority: priority contacts, contact groups, number patterns, locations, Wi-Fi, schedules, roaming safeguard. The dashboard always shows which rule is active right now and why that SIM was chosen. When you want the last word, turn on the confirmation dialog and switch the SIM with a single tap before the call connects.

PRIVACY: EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
SimChooser has no internet permission at all. The app technically cannot send your data anywhere. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs, nothing sold to anyone. Your rules, contacts, places and statistics stay on your phone and are gone when you uninstall.

WHY THE PERMISSIONS ARE NEEDED
• Phone: to detect your SIM cards and place the call on the right one
• Contacts: read-only, to match contacts and contact groups to your rules
• Location, including in the background: so location and Wi-Fi rules still apply when you dial from your phone app while SimChooser is closed. Only the last known location is read, compared to your saved areas and discarded. No location history, no tracking, no transmission.
Every permission is optional. Skip one and only the rule type that depends on it is unavailable.

REQUIREMENTS
• Android 10 or newer
• A device with two active SIMs, or SIM + eSIM
• SimChooser has to be confirmed once as your call redirection app – Android asks for this on first start
• On some manufacturer skins, battery optimisation should be disabled for reliable background rules
