PaceBalance helps people with ME/CFS and other illnesses manage their limited energy more consciously in everyday life.
Activities, energy levels, personal well-being, and PEM (Paced Energy Management) can be documented quickly and easily. This creates a clear picture of your own stress levels and potential correlations over time.
EASILY RECORD ACTIVITIES
Activities can be started directly or added later. PaceBalance records the start, end, and duration. Additional notes help to record special circumstances.
Frequently used activities can be saved as favorites and quickly accessed again. This keeps the daily effort to a minimum.
CONSCIOUSLY MANAGE ENERGY
With a personal starting value, you can track your available energy throughout the day. After activities, you can see how your assumed energy level has changed. If necessary, you can adjust the level at any time.
If you don't want to use energy values, you can deactivate this function completely. This allows you to adapt PaceBalance to your individual pacing style.
DOCUMENT YOUR STATUS
Activities can be easily rated as positive, neutral, or negative. This allows you to later track which activities were well-tolerated and which were potentially excessive.
RECORD AND ANALYZE PEM
Phases of post-exertion malaise can be documented directly in the app. PaceBalance clearly displays activities before a PEM assessment and helps identify recurring patterns.
The analysis provides insights for personal observation. It does not constitute medical proof of a causal relationship.
