About this app

Inspectr is a straightforward property inspection log designed for building inspectors, property managers, and maintenance staff who need to record findings quickly during walkthroughs. The app replaces your paper clipboard with a digital form that feels just as immediate, letting you capture property addresses, inspection dates, categories, and detailed notes in seconds. From the Dashboard, you can see your total inspections and today’s count at a glance, plus a handy quick-action button to start a new entry without digging through menus. The three most recent inspections are also right there, so you can jump back to your latest work instantly. Adding a new inspection is as simple as filling out a clean form on the Add tab: type the address, pick the date, choose a category like Plumbing, Electrical, or Structural, and write your observations. Tap Save, and your entry is stored locally on your device, keeping your data private and accessible without any accounts or internet connection. Every inspection you create can be reviewed and edited later by tapping on it from the Inspections list, where you can also search for specific records or swipe to delete ones you no longer need. The Categories tab groups all your inspections by type, with expandable sections showing count badges, so you can quickly filter down to all plumbing issues or structural concerns. When you look at your saved inspections, you’ll notice subtle visual cues that make the app feel like a real clipboard: each record has a faint carbon‑copy shadow behind the text, and a colored stripe on the left edge matches the category—blue for Plumbing, yellow for Electrical, red for Structural. Instead of generic checkmarks, completed inspections show a small blue ink smudge near the bottom corner, like a thumbprint left on paper, adding a tactile, human touch. The entire interface sits on a textured metal clipboard surface, and the bottom navigation uses metallic rivets that glow warmly for the active tab, making navigation feel physical and intuitive. Since all data stays on your phone or tablet, there’s no syncing to worry about, no cloud storage, and no risk of losing your records if you’re in a basement or remote location. Whether you’re a home inspector walking through a property, a property manager doing routine unit checks, or a maintenance worker documenting daily rounds, Inspectr gives you a fast, focused way to log what matters. It strips away complexity so you can concentrate on your observations, not on software, while still keeping every inspection neatly organized and ready for review.
